The terms covering this site and the work we do for clients.
These terms cover use of dreamboldlystudios.com and the services Dream Boldly Studios provides. Work for clients is also governed by the individual service agreement signed with that client; where the two differ, the signed agreement takes precedence.
We design and build websites and manage online presence — including Google Business Profiles and social media accounts — for small businesses. The scope, price, and term of any engagement are set out in the agreement made with that client.
Services are sold either as a one-off build or on a recurring basis. Recurring services may carry an initial minimum term, stated at the time of sale. Where a minimum term applies, it begins when the service is first delivered — the day a website goes live, or the day the first piece of content is published — not the day the agreement is signed.
At the end of an initial term, recurring services continue month to month unless either party ends them. Invoices are issued on the cycle agreed with the client.
Social media content. Social media content is sold separately from website plans and is not tied to a website term. It is available month to month or on an initial term of 3, 6, or 12 months, at the rates published on our social media content page and in our instant quote at the time of sale. The first channel is priced according to the term chosen, and each additional channel is charged at the published add-on rate.
At the end of an initial term, social media content continues month to month at the published month-to-month rate for the first channel and the add-on rate for each additional channel, unless a new term is agreed. Notice to cancel may be given at any time, in writing, but cancellation takes effect no earlier than the end of any minimum term and 30days after notice is given.
Google Business Profile. Google Business Profile management is billed month to month, per location, with no minimum term. Either party may end it on 30 days' written notice.
We may suspend a service where an invoice remains unpaid. Suspension does not cancel the agreement or waive amounts owed.
Clients agree to provide the access, content, and approvals we need to do the work, and confirm they hold the rights to any material they supply to us.
Where a client asks us to manage a Google Business Profile, analytics property, social account, or similar, they grant us access to it. That access is used only to deliver the agreed services. Clients may withdraw it at any time from the platform concerned; doing so may prevent us from continuing to provide the service.
On full payment, the client owns the final website content and design delivered under their agreement. We retain ownership of our underlying tools, templates, components, and internal systems, and may show completed work in our portfolio unless the client asks us not to.
The content of dreamboldlystudios.com is provided for general information. We try to keep it accurate but make no guarantee that it is complete or current.
We provide our services with reasonable skill and care. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for outcomes outside our control — including changes to search rankings, platform algorithms, or third-party services we do not operate. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Either party may end an agreement in line with the notice set out in it. Fees for work already performed, and for any unexpired minimum term, remain payable.
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed.
